click *play*
click the colourful square on the letter (the letter says something about your grandfather asking u to meet him at the ancestral temple, so he can tell you about an inheritance)
click on the map
click on the middle archway
click on the round patch on the ground. this roughly translates to *the person who guards the path will guide you to the correct path after 7 rings of the bell*
click on the arrow to go back to the prev scene
click the end of the pathway (i.e. middle of the screen) to advance to the next scene

click on the old man sitting down
click on the picture on the wall above him
click on the clickable area on the picture 7 times (it*s the dark spot with a white dot in the center, and it*s supposed to be the bell mentioned earlier)
click the yellow arrow to go back to scene with old man.
click on old man (you may have to click several times, i*m not too sure. else click once and see if he disappears).
click the end of the path to go to new scene (long alley way)

click the end of the path to go to new scene (door with boy hiding behind the door)
click on boy to get stone
click on door to go to new scene (old woman sitting in front of a wall)

click on old woman
click on zoomed-in old woman
drag the stone to one of the holes in the wall
click on old woman. she*ll ask u to look for her grandson

click the yellow arrow until u get back to the scene where the old man was sitting (again, try to wait till each scene fades in totally before clicking the yellow arrow to go back again, so the game doesn*t freeze)
click the basket hanging from the wall (with red arrow pointing downwards)
click on square stone where old man was sitting before
it says *no one should be able to find me, because i*m hiding in a very dark place*

click on yellow arrow, and then click the middle of the scene to go to scene with long alleyway
click on door at left of the alley way
there*s a lock on the door (slightly to the top right of the scene, should be quite easy to find, coz the lock gets highlighted when your pointer moves over it)
click on the lock three times
click on the door

click on the boy to get second stone (he*s prob the old woman*s grandson, hiding in *a dark place*)
go back to old woman, and place second stone in the other hole in the wall
click on old woman twice, then click on yellow arrow to zoom out. click the area to the right of the wall to go to next scene

click on the tree until it zooms in. note the four words on the trunk, then zoom out
click to the right of the scene to go to next scene

click the doorway. note the words to the left and right of the doorway (they aren*t very clear, but they*re actually the password that is needed later on)

click the door to enter the temple
click on the old man (the grandfather). he*ll ask you *what are the most important things to us?*
the password is 诗书开越 , 忠孝传家 (the words on the temple door; they*re supposed to teach you the importance of education, filial piety, and loyalty. i guess these values are the grandfather*s so called *inheritance*). i hope the words that i*ve typed can be seen on your screens? i*m not sure if you need a chinese software for the words to be displayed properly.
click on the old man

the words on the white screen basically tells you that *everything went blank, and then i woke up from my sleep*

and you*re done with the game
